Hosting
Ahh, Hosting. What a volatile word, yet it can also be quite nice. What is hosting? You ask? If you don't know, then I suggest you read my article about domains, subdomains, and etc.
That will explain to you what this is about and you can think things over before you decide to apply for a spot.
I only have 3 spots of hosting so I'm going to be very very picky about who I host. Anyways, read on to learn more about how you can end up with me as a host.
Perks
- A helpful host that is usually on everyday
- A sub-domain that is _________.paper-rain.org
- An email address (if you would like) that is yourname@paper-rain.org
- Nice amount of space
- Can install wordpress or cutenews (I'm extremely knowledgeable in both
Rules
- Good graphic skills (using photoshop, or paintshop, or some other program)
- Send me a link to an example of your work and/or site
- Decent knowledge of HTML & CSS (I can help with FTP)
- No porn, mp3, messed up scripts, copyright things, etc. (You know what I mean)
- You may upload layout images and buttons and etc, but try to upload things such as huge awards onto photo bucket or something.
- Keep in touch with me please :)
- Update at least once a month and warn me if your are going on hiatus or vacation (a week notice)
- I am liable to remove your site (with notice) if you break the rules 3 times
